Ahhhhhhh.....Saturday, sweet Saturday! After another crazy-busy week, waking up this morning at 7 a.m. felt so incredibly good. Sam and Ruthie each have friends over, Tim's busy operating, Stephen's at a debate tournament and Hannah is sleeping in. Got to enjoy a delicious cup of java with my sweetheart before he went to work. Nothing urgent to do except take the garbage out to the curb.....and we even have a few hours before we have to do that!
Looks like it's a pancakes and bacon kind of morning.
The weather outside is perfect, the sky is robin's egg blue, the dogs are happily playing at my feet. Days like this make it almost hard to remember that some days are hard.
Thank you, God, for simple pleasures, for relaxing mornings, for work to do and family to enjoy.
I'm hoping to sort more stuff for our upcoming "Rwanda-or-Bust Garage Sale" this November 18-19. Our stuffed garage is calling my name.
We're planning to have 3 garage sales before leaving, hoping to purge a lot of stuff that is weighing us down and put the money towards our trip.
