This One's For You, MOM!

When we took Stephen to Rift Valley Academy in Kenya, we arrived a day early to shop for a few last minute school supplies.  After shopping, we had time to visit an Elephant Orphanage and a Giraffe Sanctuary, both of which were only a ten minute drive from our hotel in Nairobi.

At both places, the whole time we were there, Stephen, Ruthie and Sam all kept saying, "Gaga HAS to see this!  She would LOVE it!  She would absolutely LOVE it!"  So, Gaga, here are the pictures.  This post is for YOU.  By the way, the animals are even better and cuter when you see them in person!  (hint, hint)

And now, for the Giraffe Orphanage.....

The Giraffe "kisses" you if you put the pellet of food in between your lips.  He gets it out with his tongue.  Pretty gross, but pretty hilarious at the same time!  His mouth feels like super rough sandpaper. For our dignity's sake, I'm not posting the shots of Tim and me kissing the giraffe.  hee hee.  Actually, I'm just not posting b/c it takes so long for these pictures to upload......seriously.  If the internet gets faster, we will post them then.
