Going Home! Or....Going to our Home Away from Home!

We just finished our first week of training with Mission Training International, and we were just told we can now return to MTI headquarters, because the fire is no longer a threat to that facility.  Yahoo!

Everyone just happily packed up their pillows and blankets and left the Baptist Church that so graciously housed us the last 3 days.  We are thankful for their opening their building to us -- they were so helpful and kind!

But, we are also so excited to be returning to our beds and our rooms at  MTI.

Another exciting thing about today.  We now have an official ADULT child!  Hannah turned 18 today.  (Pictures later, hopefully.)  We decorated the dining hall of the church last night and baked a cake -- forgot to follow directions for high altitude, so it was a little concave, but still tasted good.

What a great birthday present - she gets to sleep in a bed tonight and take a hot shower for as long as she wants.  Woo hoo!  We are leaving to drive back now, so I'll end this post here.  Thanks for all your prayers!
